Description
Stylish, authentic, and robust: the “Köln” wall light is still handcrafted today by the traditional Bolich works in the Kraichgau region. Its shade design proved successful as a factory light nearly a century ago and harmonises well with both historic buildings and modern country-style homes.
Made from antique-looking copper, the luminaire is available with various surface finishes, some of which are left to age naturally and others sealed with a clear lacquer. It is offered in different sizes with shade diameters of up to 50 centimetres.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: raw copper or copper with matt or high-gloss finish. Also on reuqest in powder-coated, stainless aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color; or raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish resp. The raw copper fixture takes on a beautiful patina after some time. As a special Ebolicht edition we offer all Bolich copper lights also in patinated (aged) copper (here an example of this finish).

Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
