Country-Style and Industrial-Style Outdoor Pendant Lights with Shades
Whether in a Mediterranean country-house style or a distinctive industrial and factory style, pendant lights with flat or deep-drawn reflector shades provide focused yet pleasant illumination for covered outdoor areas. They are particularly well suited to terraces, balconies, entrances and loggias. Depending on the desired mounting height, chain, wire-rope or rigid-stem suspensions provide the appropriate distance from the ceiling. Shade pendant lights are also ideal for illuminating tables on terraces and verandas.
Shade Lights for Covered Outdoor Areas
As outdoor pendant lights are naturally installed in covered, rain-protected areas, they are available both with and without an additional glass enclosure. Depending on their location, shade pendant lights require a minimum ceiling height of 2.5 metres; for lower ceilings, we recommend ceiling-mounted shade lights instead.
Not all shade pendant lights are fitted with a cylindrical or globe glass enclosure. In some models, the shade itself provides the necessary protection against the elements.
