The classic and versatile globe light cuts a fine figure in any environment and is particularly suitable for installation on a stone base, bollard or wall in the garden, on the terrace and in the driveway.

The high-quality and durable PMMA sphere (Ø 250 mm or 300 mm sits in a short base made of corrosion-resistant cast aluminum. The base of the garden lamp is available in black, in antique colors and in RAL colors.

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), also known as acrylic glass, is a synthetic, glass-like thermoplastic material. Its high light transmission and UV resistance paired with extreme scratch and break resistance predestine the material for eyeglass lenses, optical lenses and even for dentures.

On request, all globe lights by Schlesische Laternen are also available with hand-blown real glass globes with diameters of 250 mm or 300 mm in clear or satin.

Our Original Silesian Lanterns differ in many respects from counterfeit products. They are all manufactured with high-grade, solid die-cast aluminium. The special anti-corrosion sealing and the semi gloss powder-coating protect these products from oxidation for many years. The multifaceted offer vary from historical Schinkel-lanterns to Art déco-lighting and classic lanterns with copper roof. Additionally, the range of products comprises historical aluminium brackets in various traditional designs and sizes.

About the manufacturer

Our Schlesischen Laternen (Silesian Lanterns) and outdoor lights are fabricated by a small manufactory in southern Poland. They are crafted in solid cast aluminum (gravity or injection die-cast) and stand out due to their richness of forms. All Silesian lanterns are offered in jet black RAL 9005 semi-gloss by default, but can also be ordered in any other RAL color with an additional surcharge. The glasses of the lights are usually clear, but the manufacturer is also flexible in this respect and offers satin and old-German glasses as well as glasses with an amber color or bark structure.
