With the Berlin wall light, an authentic classic of industrial design has successfully endured across generations. The deep-drawn shade with its characteristic dome is handcrafted at the historic Bolich works in Baden using traditional metal spinning techniques, and it directs the light efficiently to ensure optimal illumination of entrances, doors, façades, and pathways.
The outdoor wall light can be extensively adapted to suit a wide range of installation requirements. Shade diameters are available from 35 to 60 centimetres, while wall arm projections range from 30 to 70 centimetres. This flexibility allows for precise coordination with different architectural situations and lighting needs.
When exposed to rain, the luminaire must be fitted with a protective glass. Depending on the desired lighting effect, clear or frosted cylindrical glass, or an opal white globe, can be selected. These options allow the light distribution to be tailored from crisp and direct to softly diffused.
This light is also available without glass for use in sheltered areas.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: powder-coated, stainless aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color. Also in raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish resp. raw copper or copper with matt or high-gloss finish. The raw copper fixture takes on a beautiful patina after some time. As a special Ebolicht edition we offer all Bolich copper lights also in patinated (aged) copper (here an example of this finish).

Power: E27 ceramic socket up to 100 Watt (60 Watt for 350 mm and 400 mm models)
Degree of Protection (according to Ingress Protection Rating): IP 54, protected against rain and splashing water from all directions

In principle, all brackets and shades can be combined. In order to receive a coherent appearance, we recommend that the bracket should at least have the same size as the reflector.

Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
