Description
The modern classic shade luminaire in flamed copper, featuring a hemispherical shade, single-tube wall arm, round canopy, and straight wall arm, is available in three sizes and combines precise functionality with a consistently reduced formal design language.
In its design, the luminaire is clearly rooted in the Bauhaus tradition, whose ambition was to create functional objects based on the unity of craftsmanship, material honesty, and industrial clarity. The sober construction of the wall arms, together with the geometrically precise shaping of the shade and canopy, consistently follows this principle of reduction to the essential.
The surface in flamed copper is sealed with a matte clear lacquer and develops a subtle iridescent effect. The natural variations in colour and flame patterns create a delicate, shifting rainbow-like sheen that differs from piece to piece, making each luminaire unique.
In this way, the shade luminaire combines Bauhaus-inspired design ideals with carefully crafted surface finishing and a warm, expressive materiality that integrates harmoniously into both traditional and contemporary architectural settings.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.

In principle, almost all brackets and shades can be combined. In order to receive a coherent appearance, we recommend that the bracket should at least have the same size as the reflector.
Includes waved nostalgic rosette (picture 5, Ø 110 mm, Depth 33 mm) with three brass screw nuts and hidden wall plate for an easy and appealing wall mounting.
For this model, we also offer a corner mounting module made of black-varnished aluminium for house corners (not required for standard wall mounting). The module for copper models is also offered in black.

Since 1911 the family-owned company Bolich Leuchten, based in Baden, Germany, has been renowned for manufacturing high-quality lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications. Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. We also feature a selection of fixtures that were developed as special editions or created to our own specifications. These include patinated copper luminaires and Bolich wall lights with a nostalgic corrugated wall plate.
Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
