Description
The exquisite flush mount wall lantern embodies lighting tradition at its finest and is handcrafted as a unique piece in a Munich lighting workshop. Available in either brass or copper, with a choice of different patinas and finishes, the lantern can take on a variety of looks, ranging from rustic to refined. Its three-glass-panel design is topped with a protective, flat pyramid-shaped roof.
The lantern is open at the bottom for easy replacement of the bulb, while also preventing dirt or condensation from accumulating inside.
Over time, the unvarnished or untreated versions of the wall lantern develop an authentic and unique patina, enhancing the light’s antique character.
Typically used as entrance and front-door lighting, it is equally well suited to passageways, balconies and verandas, as well as indoor spaces.
Material: raw copper, aged copper, polished or aged (patinated) brass, on request clear varnished (in order to conserve the finish) or waxed (in order to expose the fixture to a natural weathering process). If desired this lantern is also available in white, black, in any other RAL color as well as nickel-plated or chrome-plated.
Glass: clear glass
Satin glass, or Old-German glass (= clear glass with air inclusions) are available on request.

Power: E27 porcelain lampholder in brass or copper casing up to 75 W. The fixture is wired with a three-conductor cable.

The small family-owned company began in 1883 by producing handcrafted utility items from brass and copper, and soon became a supplier to the Royal Bavarian Court.
