Description
The classic industrial-style ceiling light with a disc-shaped shade and opal ring glass is a characteristic example of functional hall lighting from early industrial architecture. Its sober, purpose-driven design language consistently follows the requirements of large working and production spaces, where reliable, even, and well-controlled light distribution was of primary importance.
The distinctive disc shade of this factory pendant light, in combination with the opal ring glass, produces a soft, glare-free light effect that evenly illuminates large areas while creating a calm and pleasant lighting atmosphere. This construction made the luminaire a proven lighting solution in workshops, production facilities, and commercial environments.
The light is available in various aluminium and copper finishes as well as in three different sizes, allowing it to be flexibly adapted to different ceiling heights and architectural conditions. The range of materials and dimensions enables both subtle integration and a more prominent lighting presence within the space.
In this way, the industrial-style ceiling light combines the heritage of historic hall lighting with durable material quality and a timeless, functional design that continues to find its place in contemporary as well as restored loft, industrial, and commercial buildings.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: powder-coated aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color. Also in raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish resp. raw copper or copper with matt or high-gloss finish copper.
For the copper models the cast aluminium suspensions and the aluminium cable box are finished in black. The canopy is - according to the finish of the reflector - made of raw, matt or high-gloss copper resp. patinated (aged) copper and the chain is copper-plated (and possibly also patinated).
As a special Ebolicht edition we offer all Bolich copper lights also in patinated copper (here an example of this finish).

All mounting types include a hemispherical metal canopy (Ø 80 mm) in the color of order. Cables, chains and steel ropes are delievered with a length of 150 cm by default.

Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. We also feature a selection of fixtures that were developed as special editions or created to our own specifications. Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
