Description
The historic four-sided Bordeaux wall lantern with its wrought iron corner wall bracket has been one of the most popular models in our collection for many years, thanks to its authentic appearance, which is rooted in traditional craftsmanship at a French lighting workshop. Featuring the characteristic enclosed lantern roof with projecting eaves and chimney, together with the familiar decorative support detail of the wall bracket, this wall light enhances the charm of historic properties.
The corner lantern is available in either brass or zinc and can be finished in a range of surface treatments that emphasise its antique character, allowing it to blend harmoniously with a wide variety of outdoor settings.
The lantern is open at the bottom to allow easy replacement of the light source, while also preventing dirt and condensation from accumulating inside.
The Bordeaux line includes half lanterns, corner lights, wall lights with bracket, as well as suspension lights and pedestal lights in various sizes.

This outdoor lamp made of brass or zinc is available with different finishes (the wrought iron bracket is varnished in black by default. On request it can be varnished in different colors):
- Aged brass, waxed: dark patina on brass, protected with a wax coating
- Patinated brass with varnish: light patina on brass, protected by clear varnish
- Etched brass with varnish: light brown patina on brass, protected by clear varnish
- Satinated brass: brushed brass (matt)
- Canon de fusil: dark brownish-black patina on brass (named after historical cannons)
- Rust: reddish brown rust-like color on brass
- Vert de Gris: green verdigris patina on brass
- Aged Zinc: matt grey patinated zinc as known from roofs and gutters
- Patinated zinc: dark patina on zinc
- Satinated Zinc: matt brushed zinc
- RAL (by request): Besides the special metallic finishes Lumin'Art also offers clear varnishing in RAL colours (RAL is an international industry standard of colours)
By request, this light is available with the following surfaces which are not necessarily suitable for outdoor areas: polished brass, polished zinc, brillant nickel and satinated nickel.

Handcrafted with great care according to historical designs and traditional manufacturing techniques, the lanterns rank among the finest examples of classic outdoor lighting and are almost indistinguishable from antique originals in their attention to detail.
The materials brass, copper, and zinc are refined with special surface treatments such as patinas and antique finishes. These carefully crafted surfaces enhance the durability of the luminaires while giving each piece its own distinctive character.
Today, the manufactory’s collection includes more than 500 luminaires for indoor and outdoor applications.
