An outdoor wall light unlike any other: faithfully crafted after historic originals, this distinctive wall light from the Italian manufacturer Aldo Bernardi is inspired by antique gate lanterns once used to illuminate the postern gates and emergency exits of castles and fortified town walls.
Its hand-patinated copper and brass body, combined with a tapered hand-blown opal glass diffuser, develops an even richer dark brown patina over time, enhancing its authentic antique character.
The hemispherical cast brass wall plate features the Aldo Bernardi logo, sealed openings for optional surface-mounted wiring, and decorative cap nuts. Extending from the wall plate is a beautifully crafted brass arm supporting a cylindrical glass holder made of patinated copper, secured with traditional set screws.
This versatile outdoor wall light is ideal for adding timeless character to entranceways, façades, and other exterior architectural features.
