Description
The classic outdoor light for gardens and driveways is made from corrosion-resistant cast aluminium and fitted with a cylindrical real glass diffuser. Its distinctive late 19th-century character is particularly effective on gate piers, along driveways, and in gardens or on terraces, where it combines traditional styling with practical outdoor illumination.
The pedestal light is available with two different base options, offering both a smaller and a larger version to suit a variety of architectural and spatial requirements.
The lantern can also be mounted as a post-top light on a range of matching columns from the same manufacturer, providing excellent flexibility in outdoor lighting design. A coordinating wall-mounted version is also available, making it easy to create a consistent lighting scheme across different installation types.

The brass struts that connect the base and roof of the lantern are unpainted in all versions and colors and will gradually take on a dark brass patina.

About the manufacturer
Our classic and historic Schlesischen Laternen (Silesian Lanterns) are manufactured in a small outdoor lighting workshop in southern Poland. Crafted from solid cast aluminium using both injection moulding and gravity casting processes, these luminaires impress with their robust material quality, durable construction, and wide variety of designs.
All lanterns are available in standard finishes such as deep black, iron mica, or antique-style colours, and can also be produced in almost any RAL colour on request. The glass panels of the cast lanterns are available in clear, frosted, or traditional German antique glass, with amber glass and bark-textured glass also offered.
Among the manufacturer’s most popular outdoor lighting models are the versatile garden lights with spheres made from high-quality PMMA acrylic glass or real glass, the wall, post, pendant, and garden lanterns in the old-Berlin Schinkel style, the traditional cylindrical glass lanterns, and the Art Deco-style rod lights.
