With the brands Davey Lighting and Original BTC, the southern English manufacturer brings together two quality brands under one roof, offering distinct design styles for both outdoor areas and interior spaces. In addition to British brass lanterns, the Oxfordshire-based company produces historic ship lights, cubic wall lights, outdoor spotlights, industrial-style lighting, as well as classic exterior lights, country-style lanterns, and pathway lights.

Davey Lighting fixtures are exceptionally robust and built to last. Alongside brass and cast aluminium, the manufacturer uses materials such as cast bronze, copper, and silver-plated finishes to create durable and distinctive lighting solutions.

The history of Davey Lighting dates back to around 1885, when the company operated as Davey & Co in London’s West India Docks, producing ironware and ship lights. The functional and highly durable luminaires were soon installed on numerous vessels of the Royal Navy and the British merchant fleet. Later, Davey applied its maritime expertise to adapt these ship lights for use on land, initially serving industrial and commercial applications.
