The luminaire from the EBOLICHT collection is handcrafted using traditional methods in either aluminium or copper. Each piece is individually produced, with the material’s inherent characteristics consciously integrated into the design process. This careful craftsmanship not only ensures exceptional durability but also gives the fixture an authentic, artisan character.
The combination of the striking hemispherical reflector and the rounded dome results in a balanced yet expressive form that supports efficient and pleasantly directed light distribution. This makes the luminaire ideally suited for outdoor applications where robust quality and strong design presence are equally required.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: powder-coated, stainless aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color. Also in raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish resp. raw copper or copper with matt or high-gloss finish. The raw copper fixture takes on a beautiful patina after some time. As a special Ebolicht edition we offer all Bolich copper lights also in patinated (aged) copper (here an example of this finish).

Since 1911 the family-owned company Bolich Leuchten, based in Baden, Germany, has been renowned for manufacturing high-quality lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications. Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. We also feature a selection of fixtures that were developed as special editions or created to our own specifications. These include patinated copper luminaires and Bolich wall lights with a nostalgic corrugated wall plate.
Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
