Description
The "Berlin" shade is one of the enduring classics of industrial lighting design and continues to be handcrafted on a traditional metal spinning lathe at the historic Bolich works in Germany. Its deep-drawn profile with a high dome ensures excellent light distribution while providing effective protection from wind and weather.
Robustly constructed for outdoor use, this wall light is ideally suited for illuminating front doors and entranceways, pathways and forecourts, as well as terraces and balconies. Combining timeless industrial design with durable craftsmanship, it provides reliable, glare-controlled lighting for a wide range of architectural settings.
It is also available with glass and a higher degree of protection for use in non-sheltered areas.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.

Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
