Description

This wall light is manufactured of solid, anti-corrosion die-cast aluminium  and copper, it is powder-coated with black varnish, antique or RAL colors. The roof or the lantern is either made of unvarnished  or painted copper.

On request, models 1 and 2 are also available with the lantern directing downwards.

The brass struts that connect the base and roof of the lantern are unpainted in all versions and colors and will gradually take on a dark brass patina.

The downward models Marienburg and Lemberg are supplied with 30 cm of chain, which can be shortened as desired.

The luminaire comes with a copper roof or as shown in the photo, lacquered solid color.

Material: Luminaire body and wall arm made of solid, corrosion-resistant cast aluminum, louvre roof made of solid copper, brass struts and tip. The copper shield is not treated with zapon (= coated with clear lacquer firniss) and assumes over time a beautiful copper patina. Stainless steel screws (Inox A2). White reflector inside.

Glass: clear glass

Degree of Protection (according to Ingress Protection Rating): IP43

Certified under EU-regulations PN-EN 60598-1: 2007 and PN-IEC 598-2-1+A1: 1994

Our original Silesian lanterns differ in many respects from counterfeit products. They are made without exception in high-quality as solid aluminum castings. The special anti-corrosive seal and the silken matte powder-coated surface protect aluminum oxidation for many years. The diverse range of products offered by the manufacturer ranges from fireplaces to art déco fixtures to classic glass mantel fixtures with copper roofs. Matching historic aluminum wall arms in different lengths and styles are also available.

About the manufacturer

Our Schlesischen Laternen (Silesian Lanterns) and outdoor lights are fabricated by a small manufactory in southern Poland. They are crafted in solid cast aluminum (gravity or injection die-cast) and stand out due to their richness of forms. All Silesian lanterns are offered in jet black RAL 9005 semi-gloss by default, but can also be ordered in any other RAL color with an additional surcharge. The glasses of the lights are usually clear, but the manufacturer is also flexible in this respect and offers satin and old-German glasses as well as glasses with an amber color or bark structure.
