Description
These Art Deco top-mount lanterns are made of solid, anti-corrosion die-cast aluminium and brass and are equipped with opal acrylic glass and have a robust powder coating in classic black or iron mica, antique-colored paint finishes or any color according to the RAL table.
These lantern heads are suitable for installation on wall brackets or pedestals or posts. They are available in three different sizes and in upward and downward versions.
Material: lantern made of aluminum gravity casting and die-cast, extruded aluminum and aluminum plate, roof made of solid copper or painted aluminum
The brass struts that connect the base and roof of the lantern are unpainted in all versions and colors and will gradually take on a dark brass patina.
Glass: opal white acrylic glass
This plastic is hard, brittle and rigid. The material is scratch-resistant, glass clear, highly reflective and easily coloured. It has an unequalled resistance to weathering and ageing.
All PMMA glasses of the Silesian lanterns are manufactured by Elkamet Plastics Technology GmbH (http://elkamet.de). This traditional company from Biedenkopf / North Rhine-Westphalia manufactures light globes of plastic for demanding outdoor and indoor applications. Elkamet is also known worldwide as a quality supplier to the automotive industry.

Our Original Silesian Lanterns differ in many respects from counterfeit products. They are all manufactured with high-grade, solid die-cast aluminium. The special anti-corrosion sealing and the semi gloss powder-coating protect these products from oxidation for many years. The multifaceted offer vary from historical Schinkel-lanterns to Art déco-lighting and classic lanterns with copper roof. Additionally, the range of products comprises historical aluminium brackets in various traditional designs and sizes.

About the manufacturer
Our classic and historic Schlesischen Laternen (Silesian Lanterns) are manufactured in a small outdoor lighting workshop in southern Poland. Crafted from solid cast aluminium using both injection moulding and gravity casting processes, these luminaires impress with their robust material quality, durable construction, and wide variety of designs.
All lanterns are available in standard finishes such as deep black, iron mica, or antique-style colours, and can also be produced in almost any RAL colour on request. The glass panels of the cast lanterns are available in clear, frosted, or traditional German antique glass, with amber glass and bark-textured glass also offered.
Among the manufacturer’s most popular outdoor lighting models are the versatile garden lights with spheres made from high-quality PMMA acrylic glass or real glass, the wall, post, pendant, and garden lanterns in the old-Berlin Schinkel style, the traditional cylindrical glass lanterns, and the Art Deco-style rod lights.
