Description
The outdoor pendant light in early industrial design is manufactured by the more than 100-year-old traditional company Bolich in Baden, with both the shade and dome still hand-formed to this day.
This copper version of the Bauhaus-style luminaire is additionally finished with a beautiful patina, making it almost indistinguishable from an antique original. The light is recommended for rain-protected areas. Depending on preference, the luminaire is suspended from either a cable or a chain. The shade is available in several sizes ranging from 25 to 50 centimetres in diameter.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.

All mounting types include a hemispherical metal canopy (Ø 80 mm) in the according color/finish of order. Cables, chains and steel ropes are delievered with a length of 150 cm by default.

Since 1911 the family-owned company Bolich Leuchten, based in Baden, Germany, has been renowned for manufacturing high-quality lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications. Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. We also feature a selection of fixtures that were developed as special editions or created to our own specifications. Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
