The elaborately designed historic stagecoach lantern is handcrafted from copper or brass, featuring a profiled roof ridge and hipped roof. The wall-mounted lantern reveals the unique character of its craftsmanship and blends beautifully into outdoor spaces of various architectural styles.
Equipped with a simple mounting bracket and handle, the lantern resembles a historic wall torch in its construction. Two protective cross braces on the glass front, the reflector at the rear of the lantern, and the small, stylized chimney with its pointed fan-shaped roof highlight the meticulous attention to detail that went into the design of this wall light.
The unpainted and untreated versions of the outdoor lamp gradually develop an authentic and unique patina over time, further enhancing the light’s antique character.

Münchener Laternen (Munich Lanterns) are genuine masterpieces of German lantern manufacturing. The small family-owned company began in 1883 by producing handcrafted utility items from brass and copper, and soon became a supplier to the Royal Bavarian Court. To this day, its classic-modern and historic outdoor lights are handcrafted by master artisans in the family-owned workshops in the Bavarian capital.
Alongside perfectly proportioned wall lanterns in an understated southern German style, the manufactory creates historic faceted-glass lanterns in the Baroque style of the Alpine foothills, as well as handcrafted designs inspired by Romanesque old-town lanterns. These designs reflect the influence of French style on the Kingdom of Bavaria since the era of Napoleon Bonaparte.
