Description
The early-industrial shade luminaire with a swan-neck arm, hat-shaped reflector, and clear or opal pointed cylindrical glass is rooted in the tradition of functional industrial and workshop lighting. Its design follows a distinctly technical, utilitarian formal language, consistently aligned with the requirements of early exterior and working-area illumination.
The elegantly curved swan-neck arm gives the luminaire a balanced, classic appearance while ensuring optimal positioning of the shade within its spatial context. The characteristic hat-shaped reflector supports targeted light direction and enables efficient, evenly distributed illumination of façades and exterior areas.
Depending on the version, the luminaire is available with clear or opal pointed cylindrical glass, creating different lighting effects—from precise and direct to softly diffused. The combination of shade and glass consistently ensures controlled, glare-free light distribution.
The outdoor luminaire is available in aluminium or copper and in three different sizes, allowing flexible adaptation to a wide range of architectural requirements in an early-industrial style.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: powder-coated, stainless aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color. Also in raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish resp. raw copper or copper with matt or high-gloss finish. The raw copper fixture takes on a beautiful patina after some time. As a special Ebolicht edition we offer all Bolich copper lights also in patinated (aged) copper (here an example of this finish).

In principle, all brackets and shades can be combined. In order to receive a coherent appearance, we recommend that the bracket should at least have the same size as the reflector.
In addition we also offer a curved 370 mm bracket (pictures 1 and 5). For this bracket we recommend the 300 mm or (as displayed in article picture) the 350 mm reflector.

Includes waved nostalgic rosette (picture 4, Ø 110 mm, depth 33 mm) with three brass screw nuts and hidden wall plate for an easy and appealing wall mounting.
For this model, we also offer a corner mounting module made of black-varnished aluminium for house corners (not required for standard wall mounting). The module for copper models is also offered in black.

Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.

Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
