This small Flemish outdoor lighting manufacturer is one of our most exciting recent discoveries. With a team of just a handful of employees, Authent has developed an impressive range of outdoor and interior lighting over the past few years. Formal precision and inventive details define this young and distinctive atelier. The company has already attracted considerable attention from lighting professionals, particularly in its Belgian homeland, as well as in France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Authent repeatedly surprises with successful reinterpretations of classic outdoor lighting themes.
Outstanding Outdoor Lights in a Variety of Styles
Authent focuses on the tried-and-tested material brass, available in three finishes: patinated brass, matt nickel and polished nickel. Polished brass can also be produced as a special finish on request. The result is a range of timeless to historically inspired outdoor lights in a variety of styles, drawing on Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Classic Modernism and industrial design.

Authent's collection can be divided into three main groups. First are the so-called display-case or box-style outdoor lights in brass, available in several designs and sizes, some featuring integrated spotlights. These lead naturally to Authent's cast-brass outdoor spotlights. Inspired in part by film adaptations of Jules Verne, Authent gives this once-unfamiliar type of lighting a deliberately historic character – as if outdoor spotlights had already existed a century ago.
Last but not least, Authent offers a selection of classic Flemish outdoor lanterns as well as beautifully crafted brass shade lights. Alongside its handmade brass outdoor lights and spotlights, the Flemish manufacturer's collection of interior lighting is equally impressive.
