The classic and efficient round floodlight with its solid, structurally clearly designed support brackets is among the particularly robust and high-performance outdoor luminaires of its kind. In its largest version, it is designed for light sources of up to 1000 watts, delivering exceptionally high luminous output for demanding exterior lighting applications.
Thanks to its stable construction and precisely guided mounting bracket, the floodlight is suitable for both wall and ceiling installation and can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of architectural situations. Its design is engineered for durability and resilience, ensuring reliable operation even under harsh weather conditions.
Typical applications include large-scale illumination of façades, historic city walls, or extensive building structures, as well as the accent lighting of tall trees and landscape-defining vegetation. Its powerful output enables broad and even illumination without compromising the structural clarity of the object being lit.
With its functional, technical design language, the floodlight continues the tradition of classic industrial luminaires, where pure functionality and performance take precedence.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: powder-coated aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color. Also in raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish.
Glass: clear glass
Wiring: 150 cm black, white or black-and-white PVC cable. The models with 500 Watt and 1000 Watt are delivered without cable since the wiring should be conducted on-site by a qualified electrical store.
Degree of Protection (according to Ingress Protection Rating): IP 20, only protected against rain (but approved for outdoors as "classic lighting")

Since 1911 the family-owned company Bolich Leuchten, based in Baden, Germany, has been renowned for manufacturing high-quality lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications. Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. We also feature a selection of fixtures that were developed as special editions or created to our own specifications. These include patinated copper luminaires and Bolich wall lights with a nostalgic corrugated wall plate.
Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
