Description
The round Bolich floodlight unit, featuring a curved glass front and heavy-duty mounting brackets, represents an exceptionally robust and functional design intended for professional applications. Its distinctive construction combines technical clarity with high structural integrity, ensuring reliable and uniform light distribution.
The domed glass front protects the light source while simultaneously contributing to broad, efficient illumination. In its largest version, the unit is designed to accommodate lamps of up to 1000 watts, making it suitable for high-intensity lighting tasks in commercial and architectural environments.
Thanks to its sturdy mounting brackets, the unit allows for flexible installation options: in addition to conventional ground or freestanding mounting, it can also be wall-mounted, enabling a wide range of application scenarios (see photo 2). The combination of high performance, durable construction, and a restrained, functional design makes the Bolich floodlight a dependable solution for demanding lighting requirements.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: powder-coated aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color. Also in raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish. The less corrosion-resistant steel plate model is not suited for outdoor use.
Glass: clear glass
Degree of Protection (according to Ingress Protection Rating): IP 20, only protected against rain (but approved for outdoors as "classic lighting")
Wiring: 150 cm black or white PVC cable. The models with 500 Watt and 1000 Watt are delivered without cable since the wiring should be conducted on-site by a qualified electrical store.

Since 1911 the family-owned company Bolich Leuchten, based in Baden, Germany, has been renowned for manufacturing high-quality lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications. Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. We also feature a selection of fixtures that were developed as special editions or created to our own specifications. These include patinated copper luminaires and Bolich wall lights with a nostalgic corrugated wall plate.
Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
