Description
The classic wall lantern, made of corrosion-resistant chrome-nickel stainless steel, brass, or copper, is carefully handcrafted in a Berlin manufactory. The wall arm, made of hot-dip galvanized steel tubing with ornate cast-aluminum details, reinforces the historic character of this outdoor wall light.
The palmettes along the roof edge and the roof element known colloquially as the “pancake” are characteristic features of the Schinkel lantern, which was developed in 1892 by Berlin’s municipal gasworks. The light is available in colors from the RAL or DB color charts and can be supplied with the lantern facing either upwards or downwards.
The three lantern windows are available with clear or satin-finished real glass, or with opal glazing made of high-quality, UV-resistant polycarbonate.
The copper and brass models develop a natural patina over time.
The outdoor wall light is ideal for elegantly illuminating house entrances and façades.
The meticulously reconstructed outdoor lights from the Berlin manufacturer are also suitable, depending on the individual configuration, for hotels, restaurants, public buildings, and other prestigious settings.

Material: The luminaire basket and the roof are made of V2A steel, brass or copper, the conductors and tips are also made of cast aluminum (also with brass or copper models). The wall arm is made of galvanized steel pipe with castings made of cast aluminum. The reflector is painted pure white RAL 9010 and thus ensures optimal light dispersion.
In the case of the brass or copper models, wall brackets, guide runners (lampholders) are lacquered in deep black. If other colors are desired, please specify when ordering. In addition, the brass or copper surfaces are not sealed with clear lacquer fibers, in order to leave them to natural aging (patination). If desired, please specify when ordering.
