Outdoor Lights in Shades of Brown
Brown and other warm earth tones rank among the most popular colours for outdoor lights — few other shades combine as effortlessly with different façade colours, brick, or natural stone. Alongside brown-lacquered models, dark-patinated outdoor lights in brass or copper also display a range of brown tones — as do antique finishes in bronze or rust.
Brown as a Standard or Special Colour
Nearly all of our manufacturers carry outdoor lights in brown, some as a standard colour, others as a special finish by RAL. The internationally recognised RAL system defines each shade with a four-digit number. For outdoor lights in brown tones, there are twenty shades to choose from, spanning the range from RAL 8000 (Green Brown) to RAL 8029 (Pearl Copper). Outdoor Lights with a Naturally Brown Surface
An alternative to brown-lacquered outdoor lights are models with a natural patina. It forms on fixtures made from untreated copper or brass within a short time and darkens over the years into organic, earthy brown tones. A Deliberate Rust Finish
Some of our fixtures can be made to order from untreated steel. Over time, this develops a layer of rust, giving the fixture a reddish-brown tone as well.
