Description
Cast-iron wall lanterns in the Victorian style continue to shape the character of many historic town centres in Great Britain, Ireland, other North Sea countries, and the Commonwealth.
Their classic design has remained virtually unchanged for almost 150 years: the substantial wall arm, featuring an ornamental bracket, supports a four-pane lantern topped by a flat pyramidal roof. The roof is adorned with a cup-shaped finial, decorative crest, and stylized palmettes.
Today, this outdoor wall light is handcrafted in Ireland from cast iron and galvanized steel. Its generous size makes the lantern particularly suitable for larger entrances, house façades, or shopfronts.
The light is finished in classic black (RAL 9005) and fitted with clear glass.
