Description
The English exterior ceiling light in brass is available in polished brass and dark patinated brass finishes.
With its classic, maritime-inspired design language, it combines functional clarity with timeless elegance and high-quality materials. The two finish options each lend the luminaire a distinct character—from the refined, reflective appearance of polished brass to the warm, heritage-inspired look of the dark patinated version.
With an IP54 rating, the luminaire is protected against dust and splashing water, making it suitable for use in exterior environments as well as demanding interior spaces. It is fitted with an E27 lampholder, offering a flexible and practical lighting solution.
Thanks to its robust construction and understated design, the luminaire integrates seamlessly into a wide range of architectural settings—from maritime-inspired interiors to both classic and contemporary design concepts.

About the manufacturer
Established in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC began life as an Oxford based home lighting brand and has secured two further lighting brands; heritage marine lighting manufacturer Davey Lighting and LED lighting manufacturer Beadlight, under its umbrella. Exports account for 50% of the production, supplying both the retail and contract markets around the world with an emphasis on the hotel, restaurant and aeronautical industries. With a family history steeped in retail, manufacturing and design, Peter designs the company’s products in conjunction with his son Charlie who became Director in 2012.
