Description
The characteristic conical form of the industrial-style “Berlin” outdoor luminaire is a true classic of historic factory design and remains one of the most popular architectural lighting shapes to this day. This traditional family-run manufacturer, Bolich, produces the fixture by hand according to its original designs. The high-quality craftsmanship is evident in many refined details, making it a robust and long-lasting choice for outdoor use.
The industrial-style outdoor luminaire is available with either clear or frosted cylindrical glass, as well as with an opal glass globe for higher protection ratings. It is optionally crafted from antique-looking copper or aluminium and can be powder-coated in virtually any desired colour (for a copper version, please view recommended products on right side).
This light is also available without glass for use in sheltered areas.
Bolich Leuchten: Tradition and progress – these characteristics shape the family-run company Bolichwerke from Baden-Wurttemberg since its foundation in 1911. Today this manufactory, named after its founder Eugen Bolich, still produces both high-quality and functional industrial fixtures, outdoor lamps and lighting for living spaces in classic design. All Bolich fixtures have a powder-coat finish. This high-quality baking varnish is by far more robust, durable and environmentally friendly than most conventional varnishes.
Material: powder-coated aluminium with white reflector finished in jet black, pure white or any other RAL color. Also in raw (unvarnished) aluminium or aluminium with matt or high-gloss finish (also in patinated copper, raw copper, matt or high-gloss finished copper, see recommended products on right side).
Glass: with clear or satin cylinder grass, with opal glass globe
Power: E27 porcelain lampholder up to 100 Watt (60 Watt for 350-mm- and 400-mm-models)
Degree of Protection: IP 20, for rain protected areas only (but approved for outdoors as "classic lighting"), IP 54 with mounting on aluminium cable box

- cast aluminium suspension with steel rope

All mounting types include a hemispherical metal canopy (Ø 80 mm) in the according color/finish of order. Cables, chains and steel ropes are delievered with a length of 150 cm by default.

Since 1911 the family-owned company Bolich Leuchten, based in Baden, Germany, has been renowned for manufacturing high-quality lighting for both indoor and outdoor applications. Named after the company's founder, Eugen Bolich, the traditional Ebolicht collection comprises historic factory lights, country house luminaires, and outdoor lighting in a timeless Bauhaus-inspired design. Handcrafted from aluminium, copper, and genuine glass, these luminaires are distinguished by their clean lines, robust construction, and uncompromising focus on durability. Many models are also available in custom RAL colours to meet individual project requirements.
Whether for residential or commercial applications, we have worked closely with Bolich on numerous projects involving bespoke luminaires and tailored lighting solutions. We also feature a selection of fixtures that were developed as special editions or created to our own specifications. These include patinated copper luminaires and Bolich wall lights with a nostalgic corrugated wall plate.
Please note: In the case of Bolich models in raw copper and patinated copper, the natural copper may be washed out, especially on the weather side, which can possibly leave traces on white walls.
